• Clarion Hotels are a major conglomerate of several well-recognized hotel chains in the United States. Several of these hotels offer rooms to travelers in the state of New York. Clarion Hotels operate under the names Comfort Inn, Econo Lodge, Clarion Hotel and Quality Inn among several others. All Clarion Hotel lodgings have a small placard in the room stating that they are owned by the home company. Clarion Hotels also operates under the name Choice Hotels International.
  
  

Comfort Inn

• The Comfort Inn, located in Clifton Park, New York, is run by Clarion Hotels. This hotel offers an outdoor kidney shaped swimming pool with a depth of four feet, a small picnic and grilling area on the property and a full fitness center with weights and cardio equipment. A tennis court is available just across the street from this hotel. One king bed or two queen beds are available with smoking or non-smoking rooms. Requests for either queen beds or kind bed are fulfilled as possible, if stated during the time of reservation. Clifton Country Mall, an antiques mall, is located approximately one mile from the Comfort Inn.
  
  

Quality Inn

• The Quality Inn, operated by Clarion Hotels, is located in Latham, New York. This hotel offers a full-service restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a lounge attached open from 5 p.m. until noon each day. Pets are welcome at this hotel, but reservations must be made over the phone if you are bringing your pet and the hotel must have prior notice. A large playground is located across from the hotel's front entrance for children under 100 pounds, though pets are asked to stay off the equipment. Nintendo 64s and controllers are placed in the room if requested and a library of games are available at the front desk. The Pepsi Arena and Crossgates Mall are approximately seven miles from the Quality Inn.
  
  

Clarion Hotel

• Clarion Hotel is located in suburban Syracuse, New York. This hotel has a restaurant on the property that serves breakfast and dinner during the week, adding lunch during the weekend. The hotel also operates a small lounge under the same name as the restaurant, though across the hall from it. Clarion Hotel is pet friendly for one pet per room under 40 pounds with prior notice. There is a $25 pet fee as of October 2010. The Clarion Hotel is located near the Onondaga Lake, approximately two miles away, and is happy to help guests reserve boating trips or assist them with fishing licenses.
