How to Make a Nail Cross Pendant
- 1). Clean the protective oils off both masonry cut nails with the clean washcloth.
- 2). Place the 2 1/2 inch nail vertically on a flat surface and lay the 1 1/2 inch nail across it horizontally. Glue them together in this configuration with hot glue.
- 3). Wrap florist wire around the middle of the cross where the two nails meet. Wrap diagonally one way and then the other several times to hold the nails securely together.
- 4). Finish the wire wrapping with a loop tied at the back of the cross. Make the loop wide enough for your cord to pass through.
- 5). Spray the cross with urethane spray and allow it to dry.
- 6). Slide the leather cord through the loop and cut the cord with scissors to fit your neck. Tie the ends of the cord together.
