Lumma Design CLR SR Range Rover With Concave Wheels
The Range Rover Vogue/Sport models have been quite popular in the luxury SUV segment and are seen as the top models in the often crowded marketplace. This is especially true after the new generation of Range Rover models made their debut in 2013 and won over many buyers with their modern styling and comfortable interior. The team at Lumma Design looked to build upon it even further and add in some more aggressive flair to the luxury off road SUVs with their new CLR SR upgrade program that has everything from new aerodynamics and lighting to concave wheels and even engine tuning for better performance and style.
The one area that the team at Lumma Design focused on was the turbodiesel engine that turns all four of the newly installed concave wheels on the Range Rover Vogue/Sport. The CLR SR Range Rover was outfitted with a new Lumma D tuning module specifically for the engine that optimizes everything from boost pressure and fuel flow to ignition and timing. This allows for an extra 40 horsepower and 33 lb-ft. of torque to be generated by the SUV. In addition to the engine tuning, the Lumma Design Range Rover Sport/Vogue CLR SR was equipped with a new quad high gloss polished pair of 105 mm stainless steel tailpipes that connect to the exhaust system and adds some visual character to the SUV.
After that it was time to install a new set of concave wheels on the luxury off road SUV. Lumma Design opted for a set of in house CLR 23 GT concave wheels on the Range Rover Sport CLR SR model. The new set of rims were installed in a large 11.0 x 23 setup at the front and rear axles and equipped with 305/30/23 Continental tires to achieve better grip on the asphalt. The new fitment was finished off with green painted brake calipers at the front and rear axles for a bit more visual flair.
The final aspect of the Lumma Design Range Rover CLR SR conversion package was the exterior. Here, Lumma Design created a more aggressive body kit that also generates downforce. The kit features a new front spoiler bumper bar with integrated DRL lighting along with a front spoiler blade to optimize aerodynamics. At the rear sits a new spoiler flap to generate downforce at the rear axle while a rear apron bumper bar with integrated diffuser adds to the overall package. The final aesthetic touch are new Lumma Design CLR SR graphics in green across the body of the SUV.
