It is Not Mind Over Matter
This a very important point.
It's not mind over matter.
It is JESUS over matter.
Faith is a doing word.
It's not a feeling, an emotion.
It's not something you have to be psyched up for.
Faith is doing, obeying, agreeing with the word of God.
The best way to explain this is by looking at the following Scripture...
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Just get on with it! We're heading towards the promised land.
Sure difficulties sometimes arise however if we continue to walk on, continue to obey and trust the Lord these blessings will overtake us.
Sometimes people lose focus by doing nothing but dwelling upon their problems.
The Bible tells us to get on with it.
Keep walking.
Continue moving towards the ultimate goal.
Stay focused and the blessings will come.
Don't chase the blessings away! Walk By faith Not By Sight 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) Our eyes are only equipped to see the natural.
And they can cloud our judgement.
They can distract us.
They can mislead us.
They can not see the big picture.
Here is an example of what we can't see in the natural.
2 Kings 6:15-17 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots.
And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.
And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
They looked gone for all money.
But God was there with a mighty army that natural man could not see.
