How to Put an Accordion in the Case
- 1). Press the accordion closed and snap it shut. Most accordions have small straps to keep it closed, which hold the instrument in the smallest possible form.
- 2). Adjust the shoulder straps so they are gathered to one side. The House of Musical Traditions suggests placing the straps so they are away from the keyboard to prevent damage to the keyboard.
- 3). Place the accordion in the case with the keyboard facing up. Adjust the straps to the right of the case. Gently adjust the instrument so it sits firmly in the case and fold the rest of the exposed shoulder straps over the instrument. Close the case.
