Uses of Scented Candles

Scented Candles are candles made from wax or soy wax infused with fragrant oils, which while burning give off an aroma.
While traditionally they have served the purpose of lending light as well as fragrance to a room, the modern day uses of the candles vary.
There is something exotic about the aroma coming from scented candles, isn't there? Add to that the romantic nature of lighting candles and you wouldn't wonder at their being used in romantic settings.
They could be used in romantic candle lit dinners, in bedrooms, and romantic locations, to set the environment and provide ambience.
In this case, aromatic candles could also be mixed with unscented candles.
You could use scented candles at home as room fresheners.
They are especially helpful if you have pets at home and have pet litters and similar stuff.
They would help remove the pet odors and replace them with refreshing scents.
The only thing is that you should follow safety practices if you light candles in homes with pets or children.
It would always be better to keep them out of reach of kids and pets.
Many scented candles also have therapeutic effects.
They relax the mind and mitigate stress and tension.
Hence they are useful in bathrooms while you are taking a long and luxurious bubble bath.
You could also light them around your house in the evenings for the same purpose.
You could get special aromatherapy candles which would be helpful in providing aromatherapy (cure by means of scents).
Consult with people who specialize in aromatherapy and find out the type of candles you should buy and how to go about it before you plunge in.
Scented candles also work well as decorative settings during parties, receptions, and weddings.
You could mix and match these with unscented candles (or flowers) and follow patterns and designs which would make your venue look beautiful and otherworldly.
Just as in the case of romantic dinners, these candles would help in setting the ambience while looking charming.
