Is It So Bad To Be Different, Path To Prosperity, Faith
Being afraid of people is a dangerous thing.
We shouldn't go along with something we know in our heart to be wrong out of fear that we will stand out from the crowd and appear different.
It is better to stand alone with god than to stand with sinners.
I'm not saying turn your back on anyone for becoming one with Jesus Christ and finding the holy spirit is not a gift that is yours alone it is to be shared far and wide.
Honor god in all you do every second of every day.
It is wrong to live the Christian life in church and when you fellowship with other Christians then turnaround and live like the rest of the world when you are out in it.
I believe the word I am looking for here is hypocrite (Galatians chapter 2 verses 11-21).
This is easier said than done I struggle with this everyday.
You have to remind yourself daily to live as god intended and do what is right.
This lesson took me awhile to learn and to see what is really important in life not what the world perceives to be important.
How do we know what is wrong or right or what is a sin.
God has given us two ways to help us keep track.
The first is conscience.
God gave everyone the capacity to know right from wrong.
Your conscience is meant to conform to the divine law,but it is not infallible.
It can be influenced by the world around us and the way we were raised.
The road map that will keep you on the right path or the straight and narrow if you will has been the same for over 2,000 years.
Its the bible the good book contains all you need to have a relationship with god and your lord and savior Jesus Christ.
The second way that is given for us to stay on track is the law as revealed in the scriptures.
Living right and obeying God's law is the only road to success.
I don't mean success by the world's standard,God knows what patheveryone should take you just need to trust in him and turn to him for guidance and have faith in him and his son Jesus Christ.
Money and power are the blocks set up by the devil to make us stumble and stray form the lord's path.
The strategy to gaining prosperity as god taught it to Joshua in chapter 1 verses 6-8 is: 1) Be strong and courageous because the task ahead would not be easy.
2) Obey God's law.
3) Constantly read and study the book of instruction or God's word.
You may not be successful by the world's standards but you willbe a success in God's eyes and his opinion is most important.
Doing right is more important than doing well.
Not to say that you will have a easy life if you honor god in all you do.
You will have tribulations in your life to overcome thats how the lord makes us stronger and builds patience in us.
Faith however will see you through anything.
