How to Do Exponents on the iPhone

- 1). Open the iPhone's calculator app.
- 2). Turn the iPhone on its side to reveal the scientific calculator.
- 3). Tap on the base of the desired exponent. For example, tap on the number two.
- 4). Tap on the "yx" button, where "x" is superscript.
- 5). Tap on the exponent portion of the expression. For example, tap on the number four. Tap the "equals" sign for the result. Using two to the fourth power, the result should be 16.
