Best Key Organizer for Your Small Business

Many businesses need a key organizer, but may not be exactly sure exactly what the best solution is.  Valet podiums, key boxes, key boards and key cabinets all serve some similar functions, however they can have very different purposes.  If you are a service based business, and you have thought about increasing your investment in parking equipment, you may have looked into each of these options.  But what is really going to be the best fit for your company?

Are you considering adding complimentary valet services to your hotel, country club or ski area?  If this is the case, then a valet podium is going to by far be your best solution.  Most valet podiums on the market have key boxes built in, making key storage and access extremely easy.  While the other options do the same thing, you get the added benefit of professionalism and a place to put your tip box and point of sale systems as well with a valet podium.

If you aren't looking to expand your parking services and are more geared towards key storage for building facilities, additional properties or perhaps company vehicles, then a key box, cabinet or board  will serve your need just fine.  If you have a small office you may want to consider a wood key box, as they provide a much nicer aesthetic than having a big metal box hanging on your wall.

In this case it really comes down to two things capacity and security.  If security isn't an issue then a nice key board will probably serve you just fine, assuming you don't have more than a couple hundred keys.  If security is an issue then the next question is capacity.  A key box can hold a 100 keys or less, and a cabinet can hold 100 or more.  With either of these options you can find the security and capacity that best serve your needs in terms of functionality and budget.
