- 1). Go to a website with a WHOIS domain lookup tool such as GoDaddy, Internic, DomainTools or Network Solutions (see Resources).
- 2). Enter the domain name into the search field (e.g., domainname.com).
- 3). Press the "Search" button.
- 4). View the "Current Registrar" information. In addition to finding out the domain's owner, you will see other information, such as the administrative contact information, the date the domain was registered and when the registration will expire.
