Madeira - The Pearl of the Atlantic

Madeira, with the reputation of "The Pearl of The Atlantic", is the territory of Portugal.
It is located in the north Atlantic which is next to the northwest coast of Africa.
The acreage, about 769 sq.
km that is of subtropical climate, is made up of isle which includes volcanoes.
This isle is found by Portuguese in 1418 with no inhabitants.
Madeira isle includes two islands with inhabitants--Madeira Island and Porto Island, and two islands with no inhabitants.
Madeira Island is the biggest of all with low population.
Funchal, an industry and commerce center is the capital City of Madeira Island.
