- 1). Lift your motorcycle onto a center stand and jack up the stand to full height. If you don't own a center stand, find some way to get the front tire of the motorcycle off the ground while the bike is fully and steadily supported.
- 2). Remove the lug nut on the front axle of the motorcycle using a crescent wrench. This lug nut will usually be located on the side of the tire opposite the brake disc.
- 3). Gently tap the end of the lug bolt using a hammer to start it sliding through the axle. Keep tapping it until the lug bolt slides fully into the axle.
- 4). Hold up the tire with one hand and pull the lug bolt the rest of the way out of the axle using your other hand.
- 5). Gently slide the tire's brake disc out of the brake pad calipers and remove the tire.
