"90210" Synopsis and Other Essential Information

Synopsis:

Over the course of the series, the premise has drastically changed. In the beginning, the series revolved around the Wilson family, who had just moved to Beverly Hills from the Midwest. These days, all of the "adults/parents" have left the series and the main characters have moved on to either college or new jobs as they try to find themselves and their place in life.

The Original '90210':

90210 is a spinoff of mega-hit series Beverly Hills 90210, which ran from 1990-2000 on Fox. The series began with the main characters beginning their junior year in high school, which was changed after the series took off, making them sophomores. When the series ended, the characters had graduated college and followed their lives for three more years. From drinking and drugs to gambling and eating disorders, the original 90210 covered a multitude of issues affecting teenagers.

Trivia:

The role of Kelly Taylor (played by Jennie Garth) is the only character in this spinoff who stayed with the original series during its entire 10-year run.
