How to Get Rid of Flying Hatching Termites
- 1). Flying termites normally nest in damp areas, such as your basement or the property around your house. The nest would look like sandy brown hills with tiny holes. Scrape away the flying hatching termites' nest using a glass scraper. The termites will have to begin the building process of their tube again instead of moving on attacking your house. This will allow you to get a day or two to get all the supplies needed to get rid of the flying hatching termites.
- 2). Pour orange oil into an empty spray bottle. Spray this on the affected areas of your house where you often see the flying hatching termites. Spray it as well on other areas where you think the flying hatching termites may go. This works best with small infestations.
- 3). Pour the non-repellent pesticide around your house, especially near the wooden structures. Soak the areas where you see the termites often. Most termiticides are safe and are extensively tested for adverse effects on human health. As much as possible, use the odorless type of pesticide so that it will be less bothersome for the people living in the house.
- 4). Place the termite baits where you observed the flying hatching termites. Discard the dead termites by sweeping them off with your broom. This works best for larger infestations.
- 5). Reapply your pesticide around the foundation or anywhere you have observed the termites to lurk.
