- 1). Unplug the litter box and completely clean it out by removing all litter. Make sure there are no batteries in the battery box; plugging in the device with batteries in it could mess up the cleaning process.
- 2). Unlatch the latches on each side of the litter box, take off the top portion of the litter box and set it aside.
- 3). Locate the rake tracks and run your fingers along them. This will break loose any wet litter that may be stuck inside the tracks, stopping the rake from moving smoothly.
- 4). At the end of each rack you will see a button. Push all track buttons simultaneously and hold them down for a couple seconds. Repeat this process five times to completely reset the device.
- 5). Reassemble the litter box and plug it in. Fill the box with litter again turn it on.
