• The Gourmet Plaza is just south of the end of Lincoln Road, in downtown Peterborough. It is a high-end, buffet-style Asian restaurant with clean, modern decor. In addition to Chinese dishes, the restaurant offers Thai, Mongolian and Japanese options. Sample dishes from the a la carte menu include king prawns with fresh chili, crab and sweetcorn soup and duck with pineapple sauce. • The Imperial Bento Restaurant is in downtown Peterborough, just east of Lincoln Road. The buffet-only restaurant features simple decor featuring a few authentic Chinese wall hangings. It serves a variety of Asian dishes from places such as China, Malaysia and Vietnam. Dishes include minced chicken with ginger, crispy duck pancakes and satay lamb. Imperial is open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner.
