Baby Botox Injections

First of all, let's set the record straight.
Baby botox is not the botox treatment applied to babies or infants.
That is, if we don't count the popular TV show Nip/Tuck episode in which a plastic surgeon applies lip botox to an infant which, indeed, is outrageous! In fact, baby botox is an application of tiny doses of botox injections into the areas affected by lines or wrinkles.
It is a "less-is-more" approach and aims to prevent that "frozen expression" or "confused look" which is often identified with botox treatments.
Baby botox has been getting more and more popular and common among young women in their 20's and 30's.
It is known that Jessica Simpson was regularly getting lip botox injections when she was 25.
Some of the news on the national media reports an interesting relationship between anti-aging skin care and teenagers.
According to these reports, about thirty percent of the women under 25 regularly use anti aging products meant to be used by those over 40.
Some dermatologists commented on this trend by pointing out to the potential damages of exposing skin to such products at such a young age.
Cosmetic products which aim to preserve the youthful look may show different effects on young and old skins.
Retinoid and AHA's (alpha hydroxyacids) they contain activate cell renewal in old skins, however they may cause unwanted results such as redness, irritation, increased sensitivity to sun damage, hyperpigmentation and last but not least, a much faster aging process in young skins.
So are you too young to use such cosmetic or anti-aging products? Are you the right candidate for baby botox? The answer to this questions lies in you.
Unless you have an acne problem, exposing your skin regularly to cosmetic anti-aging products at a young age may lead to damage rather than benefit.
You might want to go with some basic and routine skin care principles such as daily cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection if you are not suffering from severe skin problems.
Baby botox treatments, on the other hand, contain small doses of Botox and wears off rather quickly, and might be a viable option for you to get rid of frown lines, brow furrows, creases, and wrinkles.
