How to Join the Comanche Tribe in Texas
- 1). Get a Certification of Indian Blood card application by writing to: Southern Plains Regional Office, WCD Office Complex, P.O. Box 368, Anadarko, OK 73005. You can also download the form online.
- 2). Gather all genealogical information tracing your lineage to the Comanche tribe going back at least three generations. For each of your family member's with Comanche blood, provide their tribe, roll number, date of birth and death. Provide also a copy of your birth certificate and government issued picture ID.
- 3). Mail your application, copy of birth certificate and picture ID to the Bureau of Indian Affairs Southern Plains Regional Office, who review your application.
