How to Make a Screensaver for a Phone
- 1). Navigate to the Red Dodo website. Browse through the list of available templates, and select the one that you like best. Some examples of the templates include landscapes, oceans and flowers. Click "Save" after making your selection.
- 2). Add text to your template, and click on the "Save" button. Incorporate text which fits in well with the background image or animation.
- 3). Browse through the list of phone makes and models on the website, and locate your phone type.
- 4). Click on the preview image button to view your screensaver as it will look on your phone. If you are happy with it, right click and select "Save as" to download the screensaver to your computer. If you do not like the finished screensaver, you have the option to edit or start again with a new template.
- 5). Connect your cell phone to the computer via a USB cable. A menu should appear on your computer screen detailing how to upload the screensaver to the phone. If this does not appear, then install the software that came with your mobile phone. Many modern phones now also have Bluetooth technology, which will allow you to transfer the screensaver without the need for any cables.
