In the Dwarka Mai mosque, there is a fire burning constantly from the time of Sai Baba. From this fire comes the sacred ash. This ash is said to have the curable properties.

There are private and temple funded accommodations available besides a very large bhojnalaya having the food capacity for the thousands of people. Shirdi is a teerth in Maharashtra. The three railway stations near this place are Kopargaon, Srirampur and Manmad.
