Marvels of Digital Art
Digital art includes a range of creative works produced using tools of computer and electronics technology.
Initially, different names were there to describe them.
Now it is considered to be a kind of new media art.
Traditional activities such as painting, drawing and sculpture has been changed by use of computer and electronics technology and won recognition.
The techniques results in special effects of film-making and advertising.
Desktop publishing has influenced publishing world hugely using graphic design.
It can be purely computer-generated and created by fractals and algorithmic forms.
Or, it can be graphical manipulation on scanned photographs, image drawn using vector graphics software and photos shot by using computer and electronics.
What is not a digital art?
The other kind is 3D computer graphics.
It is created in a virtual environment with the screen behaving like a window.
In the window the objects are arranged to be "photographed" by the computer.
Characteristically a 2D graphics use rasters as their primary means of representing source data, whereas 3D graphics use vectors to form immersive virtual reality set up.
Computer generated 3D still imagery are produced by designing complex imagery from geometric shapes to construct three-dimensional forms, objects and also scenes to be used in various media such as film, television, print.
Many software programs are used to do this.
Like images animations and movies are also produced by using softwares, hence digitally.
