How to Make a Film PowerPoint

    • 1). Open PowerPoint to create a new presentation. In the "Click to add title" text box, type "My Film." In the "Click to add subtitle" text box, type your name.

    • 2). Click the "New Slide" button to add a new slide. Select the theme you want from the "Themes" section on the "Design" tab. For example, choose the "Concourse" theme.

    • 3). Add content to your presentation. Create a photo album and include it in your presentation. From the "Insert" tab, click the "Photo Album" option. Click the "File/Disk..." button to insert a picture from your computer. Navigate to the directory or folder where you have stored your pictures. Select a picture. Press the "SHIFT" key and then click your mouse on each picture you want to include. Click the "Insert" button.

    • 4). Click the "Animations" tab. De-select the "On Mouse Click" checkbox and click the "Automatically after" checkbox. Set a value of 01:00 second. Click the "Apply to All" button and each slide will transition to the next slide after one second. Add custom animation to specific slides. For example, select the "Fade" option in the "Animate" menu on the "Animations" tab.

    • 5). Add sound. Go to your first slide. From the "Insert" tab, click the "Sound" button and "Sound from Clip Organizer...." Choose a clip. Select the "Automatically" button so the sound starts automatically. Double-click on the audio icon. From the "Play Sound" menu, select the "Play across slides" option. Click the "Hide during show" checkbox. Click the "Slide Show" button to test your file. Press the "ESC" key to stop the slide show.

    • 6). Save your file. Click the "Microsoft Office" button and select the "Save as PowerPoint Show" option. Click the "Save" button. This saves the file so it plays like a film or movie when opened.
