How to Update a Helio Ocean
- 1). Some smaller Helio Ocean patches or updates will be automatically updated on the phone. Just leave the phone on, and the device will automatically update overnight.
- 2). Plug the Helio Ocean into a computer with the USB cable for large updates or entire software reboots. Go to the Helio website with the computer and click the "Updates" option at the top of the site. Click the download files for the most recent updates and allow at least an hour for downloading.
- 3). Use the Helio software to upload the downloaded updates onto the Helio Ocean. Wait for several minutes as the phone processes the update, then restart the phone. Wait for the phone to install all the new software and then use the phone as normal.
