How to Create Ringtones for Verizon
- 1). Log onto the Myxer homepage (see Resources) and click the "Make Your Own" link.
- 2). Click the "Browse" tab to search for the song (or audio file) on your computer that you want to turn into a Verizon ringtone. Search through your computer until you find the song. Select that song and click "OK." You will then see the name of the file in the box on the web page.
- 3). Type your phone number in the "Enter Your Phone Number" box. Then click "Customize."
- 4). Select the start and finish points of the ringtone by clicking on the darkened box found in the audio section near the top of the page. Once you click on the box, you can move it toward either the start or finish of the file. You also have the option of typing in the "Start" and "Length" boxes to edit the size of your ringtone. Click the "Play" tab next to "Listen to This Section" to preview the Verizon ringtone.
- 5). Set the volume of your Verizon ringtone by clicking on the "Volume" box near the bottom of the page.
- 6). Click "Send to Phone" after you've finished editing your Verizon Wireless ringtone. You will then be taken to a web page that is divided into two sections. In the first section, you will have to select the manufacturer of your Verizon cell phone (like LG, Samsung or Motorola). Beneath this section, you will see a list of various Verizon cell phones. Click on your phone. When you're done, click "Send to Phone"; the ringtone will be sent to your Verizon cell phone.
