How to Switch Email Accounts in Microsoft Outlook
- 1). Close Microsoft Outlook. Email accounts (or profiles) cannot be changed while the software is running.
- 2). Open the "Control Panel" from the Start menu.
- 3). Double-click on the "Mail" icon to open your system's mail preferences.
- 4). Click on the "Show Profiles" button. Click on "Always use this profile" and select the profile you wish to switch to. Click "OK" to close the setup window and save your changes. You may select "Prompt for a profile to be used" if you do not want to set a specific profile and wish for the user to select a profile upon launch.
