• The Pantone color matching system is widely used in the graphic arts industry as a reference for choosing, matching and creating colors of ink. The Pantone Formula Guide contains more than 1,000 solid Pantone colors printed on card stock with assigned color formulas to help graphic designers create and match colors.

• In 2006, Pantone entered an alliance with European paint maker Fine Paints to create Pantone Paints, which has more than 3,000 color possibilities. Pantone Plastics color system enables plastic manufacturers and producers to choose from hundreds of colors for use with plastic products.
  
  

Fashion and Design

• Fashion and interior designers use Pantone color products to select and match colors of clothing and home furnishings. The Pantone Fashion + Home color system provides more than 1,900 colors on fabric or paper, giving designers an accurate vision of what the color will look like during the designing process.
