    Hesston Proper

    Saxton Area

    • Saxton is located less than 20 miles from the heart of Hesston and Raystown Lake. Raystown Lake, though technically four miles from the center of Hesston, is the physical address and location of the lake itself. The expansive lake, comprising more than 8,300 acres, is technically a manmade reservoir that provides plenty of activities for guests, including boating, which draws many people to the area.

    James Creek Area

    • James Creek, a small town located roughly eight miles from Hesston, offers additional lodging options for those seeking a more resort-type setting for their vacation or getaway to the area. Options range from private cabins at the Shy Beaver Lakeview Estates to the Mountain Water Chalets, slightly up the road from James Creek in Marklesburg, Pennsylvania.
