How to Unhide Folders Using CMD
- 1). Open the Start menu and type "cmd" into the Search box to open the command prompt.
- 2). Navigate to the folder or drive housing the folders and files you wish to reveal. To do this type "cd" followed by the file path. For example "cd C:\Documents and Settings\User_Name." Press "Enter" to execute the change of directory.
- 3). Type "dir /a:h" and press "Enter" to reveal the hidden folders and files.
