- 2). Record the property's county, which is listed in the far right column.
- 3). Visit the Directory of Recorder of Deeds Offices website (see Resources).
- 4). Follow the link to the Recorder Of Deeds Office website for the property's specific county.
- 5). Follow the instructions for requesting an "owner and encumbrance report" on the property from its local Recorder of Deeds office.
