The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
Instructions:
Start out by making sure your jar is clean and dry. Tear the tissue paper into pieces. Use decoupage medium or dilute white glue so it is thin until to brush it into the jar.
Work in a small area of the jar at a time. Brush some glue or decoupage medium onto the jar. Lay pieces of tissue paper onto the glue. Smooth each one down. Overlap each tissue paper piece so the entire jar is covered. Repeat this until the entire jar is covered. Let the glue dry.
Once the first layer of glue is dry, brush another thin layer of glue over the tissue paper to coat the jar entirely. Let this glue dry.
Use a marker or even scraps of black paper to make a face on the ghost. You can also decorate the ghost using anything else you want. You can use the ghost to hold a tea light candle or treats.
