How to Download Skype on a Computer
- 1). Open a new window in your Web browser. Navigate to the Skype download page in the "Get Skype" section of Skype.com.
- 2). Click the blue button marked "Download Skype." Click "Save" or "Save File." Wait for the download to finish.
- 3). Minimize your Web browser and open your browser's download folder. Double-click "SkypeSetup.exe." Click "Run."
- 4). Click "Skype End User License Agreement" and "Skype Privacy Statement" if you wish to read them. Click "I agree - install." Wait for the download to complete and the program to install -- this could take several minutes on a slow connection.
- 5). Click "Finish." Enter your full name, Skype username, password and email to set up a Skype account. If you already have a Skype account, click "Sign in" to start using Skype.
