How to Update Magellan 1200
- 1). Go to the Magellan website and click on the "Products" link. This will take you to a page with a list of product categories.
- 2). Click on the "Maps and software" box to go to a list of map updates.
- 3). Choose the latest map update under "Vehicle navigation maps look up" and click on it.
- 4). Click on the "Compatible units" tab and scroll the list of units until you find the 1200.
- 5). Verify that the update is compatible with your unit, then click the "Add to cart" link.
- 6). Click the "Login/Create account" link at the very top of the page, then choose "Create a profile." You will need to create a profile to continue with your transaction. You can also register your Magellan RoadMate 1200 and be notified of future updates.
- 7). Click on the "Shopping cart" link, and follow the instructions to purchase the update.
