- 1). Remove the Cobra microphone from the packaging and stretch out the microphone cable. Check the connector jack and make sure no wires are exposed.
- 2). Turn off the power to the Cobra CB radio. Look for the "Mic" or "Microphone" jack on the radio. Look for the jack connector on the right- or left-hand side for Cobra hand-held models and on the front panel for base and truck models.
- 3). Plug the four-pin connector jack into the Cobra radio. Turn the radio on.
- 4). Double-click the transmit button on the side of the Cobra microphone and listen to the speaker on the radio. Listen to hear the "click-click" as you double-key the button, indicating the microphone is wired and ready to go.
