How to Remove Exercise Putty From a Carpet
- 1). Pull excess putty away from the carpet with your hand if it is still soft. If the putty has hardened, scrape off the excess with a butter knife.
- 2). Soak a cotton ball in isopropyl, or rubbing, alcohol.
- 3). Rub away the putty stain with the cotton ball. Move the ball in small, circular motions over the stain.
- 4). Blot the area dry with a clean, dry cloth.
