How to Capture Audio from Speakers
- 1). Attach the microphone to the boom arm of the mic stand.
- 2). Connect the mic cable to the microphone.
- 3). Position the microphone boom so that the microphone is a few inches away from the middle of the speaker.
- 4). Connect the mic cable to the mixer.
- 5). Turn on the microphone and speaker. Monitor the input and adjust the microphone's distance from the speaker as necessary.
- 6). Use your mixer and recording set up to record the audio from the speaker as it plays into the microphone.
