How to Install Java for Limewire
- 1). Open your web browser.
- 2). Type "http://www.java.com" into the address bar at the top (without quotation marks).
- 3). Click the "Downloads" hyperlink at the top of the page.
- 4). Click the blue "Free Java Download" button in the middle of the page. Choose the directory on your computer where you want to save the Java installation. Desktop is a good choice.
- 5). Double-click on the Java installation file you've just downloaded. Follow the directions on your screen to install the software.
- 6). Restart your computer to complete the installation. Java is now installed on your computer, and Limewire can work properly.
