How to Determine When I Got Pregnant or What Day
- 1). Think back to your last menstrual cycle. If possible, take a look at a calendar or daily planner to refresh your memory. Record the first day of your period on a piece of paper. Let's say, for example, that the first day was August 3.
- 2). Add on 11 days to this date. In our example, 11 days after August 3 would be August 14. Record this date.
- 3). Now add 21 days to the first day of your menstrual period. Again, in our case this would be August 24th. Record this date.
- 4). The last two numbers you recorded indicate the range of possible dates that you could have conceived. Normally, ovulation takes place around 11 to 21 days after the first day of your period. So, in the case of our example, the conception date could have been anywhere from August 14th to August 24th.
- 5). Refer to your calendar or planner if you aren't happy with an 11 day range. Try to figure out which days you and your partner were most likely to have had intercourse. This may help you to limit the time frame. If you were intimate with your partner every day, however, you're out of luck.
