The Mississippi River stretches for more than 300 miles along the eastern coast of Iowa. A great way to experience the scenic beauty of Iowa's Mississippi River is on a riverboat cruise. Passengers can step back in time on a historic steamboat as expert river guides narrate and navigate the trip down the river. While most cruises offer live entertainment and sightseeing opportunities, some even serve home-cooked meals. - This day-long excursion will take passengers on a northern or southern cruise of the Mississippi River.
