Western Adventures 4x4 Driving School at Truckhaven Offroad Training Facility
It was very good to see the Truckhaven Offroad Training Facility built by Tierra Del Sol 4x4 club. It shows a real commitment to the sport. And it's a great park in Southern California to play or learn to play on 4 wheels.
Once I got on the course and started getting familiar with what was there I was sitting on top of a hill watching people trying to take on 1000 Dollar Hill and saw a group of people gathered together listening to a guy talk about offroading.
Turns out it was Western Adventures 4x4 Driving School giving tips to offroaders about how to wheel. Western Adventures does some cool things in the Southwest for offroading. They offer one and two day adventures in areas like Coyote Canyon, Borerego, Death Valley, Big Bear, Mojave and of course, Truckhaven in Ocotillo Wells.
If you're interested in going on an adventure with them you'll be happy to know it's free. They do ask for a $100.00 deposit in order to hold your spot, but they will refund it when you get there for the trip.
