How to Move the Sky From One Picture to Another With GIMP

- 1). Load the photo you want to change, along with a photo of a replacement sky you like.
- 2). Open GIMP. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that pops up, browse to and open the photo you want to fix.
- 3). Select the "Path" tool from the toolbar and use it to draw a path around the sky in the photo. Go to the tool options and click "Make Selection." Hit "Delete" on your keyboard.
- 4). Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open as Layers." In the dialog box, browse to and open the replacement sky photo. It will appear above the other photo in the "Layers" panel, so drag it below the original photo. Save your work.
