- 1). Drink a lot of caffeine throughout the day. It can be found in tea, soft drinks and energy drinks. Caffeine is a strong diuretic. It produces more blood flow in the kidneys, stimulating them and causing the liquid waste to move into the bladder.
- 2). Drink a lot of water throughout the day. It is good for you and it is a cause of quick urination. Water is filtered through the kidney and into the bladder where it is released in the form of urine.
- 3). Consume alcohol, if it is safe to do so. Alcohol is a diuretic; it produces a hormone called vasopressin which reabsorbs water back into the kidneys and prevents it from emptying into the bladder. You will have a strong urge to urinate quickly, when the urine is released to the bladder.
- 4). Buy an over-the-counter diuretic or water pills. They are inexpensive and easy to get from your local store. Diuretics aid greatly in the elimination of sodium and water in urine from the body.
