Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival

• The Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival is held annually in the Downtown Marktplatz and features a gumbo cook-off along with red beans and rice, boudin, corndogs, hamburgers and German sausage. The two-day event features games, shopping, live bands and arts and crafts for attendees to enjoy. There is even a kids fun area for children to play and have fun.

• The Texas Mesquite Association presents the Mesquite Art Festival in Fredericksburg annually in the Downtown Marktplatz. The three-day event started in 1992 and features member-created woodworkings from all around Texas. The festival presents various types of work, including dressers, doors, mantles, art, dining tables and other types of furniture.
