The definition of an allergy in summary A basic summary of what an allergy is, is basically, it is when your immune system is unable to deal with particles, which causes it to become irritated.
The particles it can't deal with usually come from somewhere in your surroundings.
Defining what an allergy is, is simple on the surface, but if you are a sufferer you are not likely to think so.
What might cause allergic reactions The first thing to note is that there is more than one type of allergy.
There are multiple types of them and they are not all triggered by the same particles.
The more common ways people who have allergy suffer, is basically just, from the everyday environment and the particles within it.
You've probably heard of things such as hay fever, caused by pollen.
Other things can cause allergies too, such as the food you eat, grass and even medication.
If you are lucky enough to not suffer from an allergy you should be grateful.
As explained earlier there are a lot of people that have allergies, if you have one, you won't be alone.
To prevent your reaction to certain particles, you will need to always be aware of your surroundings, and the things that you eat.
Knowing these things will help you reduce any allergic reaction you may have, the more understanding you have about yourself the better you will be able to avoid places and things that may cause your allergies.
