What Will I See on My World Cruise?

Well Dream Cruiser, What you will see depends on which cruise line you and your travel genie choose as the best fit for your personal style.
Do you want country club casual or dressing to the nines? Do you want large numbers of fellow world cruisers or a more intimate experience.
Do you want an adventure expedition filled with learning opportunities or do you want a more relaxed and restful cruise with some learning sprinkled in? Do you want luxury, high premium or a premium experience? We will chose one cruise line for this article and focus on what you will see on their version of the world cruise.
Then each following article will focus on another line.
You may see duplicate ports but each cruise may focus on a different experience in the same port.

Bombay (Mumbai) You may see this wonderful place as a bit confused, is it a modern sky-scrapper city or a city filled with historical temples and buildings.
The answer is, it is both.
While you take in the contrast be sure to see Elephant Island with sixth century temples carved from rocks and the Towers of Silence plus the Prince of Wales museum.
Muscat, Oman No one likes to see litter so the next site is a city known for cleanliness.
I am dreaming about seeing the Sultan's palace at night and touring the fish market and forts and museums filled with history.

Cairo/ Giza (Alexandria) You have heard of the 7 wonders of the world?  Well many of your fellow passengers will choose to visit the Great Pyramid of Giza and close by is the Sphinx.

Valletta, Malta Here you will see medieval castle, grand churches and minarets (slender towers attached to a mosque from which the muezzin (crier) calls the people to prayer) Rome, Italy Imagine you see some of the world's greatest fountains, monuments and churches namely Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Vatican City, the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum.
  This will be a haven for avid shoppers.
Barcelona, Spain Music, Tapas and cafes line the streets of Barcelona.
  You will want to see the Spanish Village, the Gothic Quarter and the Picasso Museum.
  The 1992 Olympics helped turn Barcelona into a gleaming metropolis.
Paris, France Do you want to see great landmarks, Eiffel Tower, the Arch de Triomphe, Notre Dame?  Mona Lisa at the Louvre or take a short train ride to Louis XIV's palace in Versailles.
Olso, Norway Viking viewing and not the kind that reside in Minnesota.
  You will want to see Frogner Park, the Munch Museum or just take in the coves and vibrant mountains.
London, England Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the London Bridge and the changing of the guard are the things to see before you leave Europe and head to North America.

Papeete, Tahiti With the fragrence of the tiare flower wafting through your nostrils visit the Gauguin Museum, botanical gardens or visit the roulettes and enjoy a inexpensive tasty meal.
