Black Dog Man

Photos taken of the area on the day of the Kennedy assassination have been pored over by investigators and theorists alike in the years since. One mystery still unsolved is that of a mysterious silhouette leaning on the fence at the top of the grassy knoll. If you squint at the original photo, it looks like a black dog, hence the nickname “Black Dog Man”. No one ever came forward to say they were there that day, leaning on the fence at that location.

The Black Dog Man would have been standing behind the fence at the right of this photo, behind and to the right of the largest tree. The missing slats in the fence are intentional as the fence was not in good repair on the day of Kennedy's visit.
