Uninstalling an Adobe Reader Plugin
- 1). Right-click "Start" and then click the "Explore" program link from the Windows Start context menu to open Windows Explorer.
- 2). Click the "Organize" drop-down menu on the top navigation bar of Windows Explorer, and select "Folder and Search Options."
- 3). Click the "View" tab.
- 4). Click the radio button labeled "Show Hidden Files and Folders" under the "Hidden Files and Folders" section.
- 5). Uncheck the options "Hide Extensions for Known File Types" and "Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended)." Click the "Yes" button to confirm the operation.
- 6). Click "OK" to save the settings. Hidden files and file extension will now be visible to the user.
- 1). Right-click "Start" and then click the "Explore" program link from the Windows Start context menu to open Windows Explorer.
- 2). Navigate to the following path in the left pane of the Windows Explorer window:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\PLUGINS" - 3). Right-click on the file named "nppdf32.dll" and select "Delete" from the context menu. The plugin file will be deleted from the Internet Explorer plugin directory.
- 1). Right-click Windows "Start" and select "Explore" to open Windows Explorer.
- 2). Navigate to the following path in the left pane of Windows Explorer:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Plugins" - 3). Right-click on the file named "nppdf32.dll" and select "Delete" from the context menu. The plugin file will be deleted from the Mozilla plugin directory.
