    • The Belvedere Guest House for Men is one of the more popular accommodations. This establishment caters to Fire Island's populous gay community, being centrally located within Cherry Grove. The Belvedere, which is a clothing optional establishment, is modeled after a Venetian palace, with many decorative nods to Greek and Roman culture. There are many different room packages available, with the lowest basic room costing $125 per night during peak season.

    Clegg's Hotel

    • Located in the unofficial capital of Fire Island, Clegg's Hotel offers spacious guest rooms and suites in a central location. Clegg's Hotel also has a studio apartment available for renting that features scenic views of the island. The hotel was founded in 1946 by the Clegg family. Rates for rooms start at $160 a night Sunday through Thursday in the off-season. Package deals are available for weekends, holidays and seasonal months. There are also discounts for senior citizens and groups.

    Davis Park Cottage

    • Located in Davis Park on the eastern end of Fire Island, this cottage features two bedrooms and one bathroom. The cottage can accommodate six people. The floor plan of this cottage is open, meaning there are no walls dividing the living spaces. There is a multilevel deck, outdoor bar and gas grill. The cottage is available for renting Mondays through Fridays only, with a minimum stay of 4 nights. Rates begin at $200 per night on the off-season, and $350 a night during peak season.

    The Grove Hotel

    • The Grove Hotel is the largest hostel on Fire Island, located within the gay-friendly community of Cherry Grove. It is centrally located to the beach, local restaurants, shopping and bars. The hotel features special events for guests, such as free drag shows, theme parties and guest DJs. Rates for the Grove start at $75 a night and increase during peak season.

    Robbins Rest Vacation Home

    • This oceanfront beach house is located in Robbins Rest, only fifteen yards away from the beach. The house has four bedrooms and can sleep eight people comfortably. There are two bathrooms, a fireplace and an upper balcony to enjoy the view of the beach. The house also features a washer and dryer and an outdoor shower. The home is available from May until September at rates beginning at $2,900 a week.
