New Software Versions

• MS Works suite includes updated versions of MS Works, MS Word, MS Money, MS Encarta, MS Picture it, MS Streets and Trips. These were major updates to existing Microsoft products. These updates include updates to the user interface, usability and additional functionality.
  
  

New Service Pack for IE 6

• Internet Explorer 6.0 received a "service pack" update. This update mainly consisted of security updates, with no major changes to usability. The service pack also was made available to all Internet Explorer users as a free download.
  
  

No Changes

• The only software left unchanged was MS Outlook Express. The same version of this email and newsreader software shipped in both versions. Outlook Express also was distributed as a free download, and was on a different upgrade schedule.
