How to Use WYSIWYG Editor 8

    • 1). Open the WYSIWYG editor from the website. Look at the toolbar for the WYSIWYG editor; this is where changes to the formatting can be made. Familiarize yourself with the different functions of the toolbar, such as buttons that make the text bold, italic, underlined or strikethrough, or buttons for aligning left, right or center. The style and format of the text can also be altered along with the font. Bring the cursor hovering over the top of the button on the WYSIWYG editor, and a small title for the button should appear.

    • 2). Learn advanced functioning. Some webmasters choose to include the full functioning of WYSIWYG Editor 8 which includes functions such as lists, undo, insert/edit links, insert/edit image, edit HTML, find/replace, insert date/time/emoticons, embed media, direction, layers and text color.

    • 3). Simply type in the editor's input field and use the WYSIWYG editor as needed to make changes to the document. WYSIWYG functions much like a Word document, and edits in the editor are reflected instantly in the input field.
