How to Install Raptor Nerf Bars
- 1). Elevate the driver's side of your vehicle with the floor jack. Place two of the four jack stands under the driver's side frame -- one at the very front, one at the very rear. Lower the vehicle onto the jack stands and remove the floor jack.
- 2). Place the remaining two floor jacks alongside the frame, near the running board mount holes. Support the left Raptor Nerf bar on the jack stands, with the Nerf bar brackets lined up with the running board mount holes in the frame.
- 3). Connect the running board to the frame, using the hardware that comes with the Nerf bar and the socket set. The bolts should slide through the Nerf bar brackets and then through the frame, before you attach the retaining nuts on the ends with the socket set.
- 4). Move the two jack stands out from under the Raptor Nerf bar and set them aside. Lift the driver's side off the other jack stands, using the floor jack, move the stands aside and then lower the vehicle down with the floor jack.
- 5). Move to the passenger's side of your vehicle and repeat the first steps 1 to 4 on that side to install the right-hand Raptor Nerf bar.
